This is a photo of a bike built byJohn Slawta of Land Shark  in 1988 for Andy Hampsten, the bike he would go on to win the Giro d'Italia aboard.

In 2006 the Elkhorn Valley Club gathered contributions from members and from other folks in the community to award a needy child a bicycle. Not so much as a toy, even though we all need toys, but as a means of transportation as well. In the Christmas season, many people need all the help the rest of us can give them.  read more »
