Scott Blair returns to racing form after an extended time off the bike to take part in the final Norfolk Race Series Time Trial of 2008 September 2, turning in a very respectable time of 33:27 over the 12 mile course and an average speed of 21.52 mph. Duane Blair maintained is string of victories with a win in the A-Race and Dennis Smith capped his year with a win in the final B-Race. Race regular Mark Herzinger crashed on some loose gravel in one of turns, and Jan Hake earned the "Eagle Eye" award for being the only one to notice a certain feature along the race course.

Congratulations to all participants in the 2008 TT series, which continues in 2009 bigger and better than ever. Scouting reports indicate that we may be able to return to our roots at the Norfolk Beverage lot in 2009 which will be good news for all. The final club competition for the season will be a mountain bike race September 16 at Maskenthine Lake.
