TIME TRIAL SERIES
Wednesday Evenings: June 11, July 9 and August 6, 2008
Course Distance: 20 kilometers
Course Description: Flat out and back course on semi-smooth chip seal road that is OPEN
TO TRAFFIC and located between Jefferson and Elk Point, SD.
Registration: Registration closes at 6:45 p.m.
Start Time: First rider is off at 7:00 p.m.
Location: Course starts approximately .7 miles north of the junction of County
Road 1B and 481st Avenue/County Road 9. Directions to course are as
follows: From I-29, take exit #9 and go east approximately .6 miles to
County Road 1B/Main Street in Jefferson, SD; take a left on 1B/Main
Street and travel northwest on 1B for approximately 1.8 miles and take
a right on 481st Avenue/County Road 9. The nearest house address to
the start is 32840 481st Avenue, Elk Point, SD.
Entry Fee/Cash and Prizes: Cash and prizes totaling at least $500 will be determined based on
field sizes.

Women Open/Juniors $15 each race TBD
Points: Prizes based on cumulative points earned. Points awarded each race
are as follows: 20/17/14/12/10/8/7/6/5/4/3/2/1.
Rules: Riders under 18 will need a parent signature on the entry form. USCF
race permit is applied for.

Eddy Merckx Class: No aero bars, aero helmets, disc wheels or wheels with a rim depth of
more than 30mm are allowed in this class.
