The First TNR of 2010 is Done

March 18 was the first Thursday Night Ride of 2010 and it was a good one. 12 riders rolled out from downtown Norfolk into a slight SW wind down South 1st Street. The ride remained relatively mellow until the first hills when Dan and John Spray decided to up the pace a blew the group apart. 

Once everyone regrouped and the end of the blacktop the group turned back north on Highway 81. Things stayed calm until the sprints started in the flats south of the airport when it was every man for himself. 

The wind switched to the north as the group rolled past the airport and back to South 1st into town. 

The night was capped with a couple beers at the 5th Street, which may just become a tradition.
