Carveth Joins EVCC

Elkhorn Valley Cyclng Club is proud to announce the addition of LIncoln resident and Cat 3 racer Kim Carveth to its squad for the 2010 season. Kim will join Janna Vavra in Cat 3 making for a strong combination in regional road and cyclocross events.

"We are very happy to have Kim on our team." reports Jon Downey, of Elkhron Valley Cycling. Dan Spray, also of Elkhorn Valley Cycling agrees, "Kim will make a fine addition and will help EVCC be a dominant force in women's cycling in the Midwest."

Downey and Spray agreed that Kim is the type of rider that Elkhorn Valley Cycling looks for as a team member. Spray says "We like to have a team of good riders who are most importantly good people who can be good examples of the sport for new riders, the community, and our sponsors."

The addition of Carveth is only one of the announcements expected from the club in the coming weeks. "We still have big things to roll out. Expect more updates soon." said Downey.
