Porn Races at Nationals

Whitney tearin up forbidden fruit trail
EVCCX-Monster team member Whitney Porn took advantage of her qualification to USA Cycling’s MTB Nationals and drove to Sun Valley, Utah with husband Brian for the Women’s Category 2 event on July 5.

Murray Does Dairyland Tour

Kevin Murray and a few friends traveled to Wisconsin for the Tour of America’s Dairyland. We couldn’t be prouder of him, not only because he made the trip to take part in a premier event, but that he finished a whopping fifth overall after a week of racing.

Ponca and Mother Nature Fail to Stop EVCC

Elkhorn Valley Cycling’s off-road team EVCCX-Monster took on a determined effort from Ponca State Park, and the weather, and came out on top with several podiums and, fortunately, no injuries.

Norfolk Race Weekend Successful

Colby Turpin on the top step as Cat 5 State Champion

With 91 starters at the Maskenthine XC Classic and 84 at the Norfolk Classic/Nebraska State Championship Criterium,  it was a great weekend of racing in Northeast Nebraska. The EVCC volunteer spirit is alive and well and showed itself in full force all weekend, with volunteers making the weekend pleasant for all involved.
